A crew of us from Phoenix Community Garden got up early to beat the heat and plant this 20 foot linden tree. The rootball was 3 feet high and *heavy*. I think it is happy with its new spot. When Millie (pictured) began to water it, it’s leaves quivered, like with joy.

Do linden trees have any special qualities?
Yes, indeed. They’re a classic shade tree. And the blossoms make a wonderful tea that’s very calming. And I hear that bees love the blossoms, too.
